Can I book the apartment directly on this website?

Yes. Please contact us with your inquiry. Bookings are also available through platforms: Airbnb and Booking.com.

How does check-in work?

Self check-in is available between 13:00 and 18:00. Before arrival, guests must complete the mandatory Hungarian guest registration. After registration is completed, detailed self check-in instructions and the keybox code are sent.

Why do I need to complete online check-in before arrival?

Hungarian law requires all accommodation providers to register guests before arrival through the national tourism system. After booking, guests receive an official email with instructions and are asked to download the Vendégem Szállás mobile app to complete a quick online check-in. If guests scan their documents in the app, no in-person meeting is needed. The law only requires a very short video call to confirm identity. If a guest does not have a smartphone, the registration must be completed personally in the apartment.

Is parking available?

The apartment does not provide a private parking space. Parking in the courtyard is allowed only with official authorization. Please do not drive into or park on the pedestrian walkway or inside the courtyard without permission, as this may result in a fine and complaints from residents. The nearest parking options are located at Jászai Mari Square and behind UniCredit Bank. Street parking is paid on weekdays 8:00–18:00 and Saturday 8:00–14:00, and free on Sundays. Payment is possible by card, mobile app, or coins at the Jászai Mari Square machines, while the machine behind UniCredit Bank accepts coins and mobile app. A private parking lot is also available behind UniCredit Bank, where parking is paid on site in cash.

Are children or pets allowed?

Pets are not allowed. Due to the loft sleeping area, the apartment is not suitable for children under 6 years old.

Is smoking allowed in the apartment?

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the apartment and smoke detector is always on. Smoking is allowed only in the courtyard and cigarette butts must be disposed of properly in public waste bins.

Are parties or events allowed?

Parties and events are not allowed.

Is Wi-Fi available?

Yes, free high-speed Wi-Fi is available for guests.

Is the apartment suitable for remote work?

Yes, the apartment is suitable for remote work and longer stays. Guests have access to fast internet, a workspace, and a quiet city-center location.
